Barry's Bootcamp | Post | Best Exercise Items of 2010

Obsession Fitness recently did a top 25 rundown of the Best Exercise Programs, Equipment and Accessories. Broken down by price, the list included several items I  would recommend adding to your home fitness ensemble, along with your Barry's Bootcamp collection, of course.

Here are some of our favorite picks from that list just in time for the New Year.

  1. The Wii Fit Plus We love it that a video game is, for once, actually getting kids (and adults) up off the couch and moving.
  2. Nathan Speed 4 Waist Pack with Four 10-Ounce Nutrition Flasks Keeping hydrated is oh so important while exercising that this product makes it easy to carry H2O with you wherever you go.
  3. Bodylastics Heavy Duty Exercise Resistance Bands System We’re all about resistance training and Barry’s Bootcamp, which is why you’ll find similar bands in our program.
  4. Joist Mount Chin Up Bar If you want to increase your upper body strength quickly and effectively, this bar is the way to go.
  5. Impact Sports ePulse Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Watch and Calorimeter Keeping track of your heart rate and your calories burned helps you make the most of every workout.
  6. Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver With Heart Rate Monitor and the GoWear fit Lifestyle and Calorie Management System for those with a bit more cash to splurge who want the same fitness-tracking benefits with more bells and whistles.

And of course I’d like to add to this list the Barry’s Bootcamp program, which earned People magazine’s USA Today’s nods as the Best Workout for 2009.
